LIFE PLAN QUOTES |
In another narration Abu Hajim
narrated from Abu Huraira (R) that he said, once I feel very hungry. Then, I
met Umar bin Khattab and asked him to recite a verse of Allah (Quran) from him.
He read the verses and entered his house. Meanwhile, after some distance I fell
prostrate on the pretense of hunger. After a while, I saw Allah's Messenger
standing near my head. He said, "O Abu Huraira! I am labbika wa sadeka 'O
Messenger of Allah I am present, O Allah's Apostle, (at your side) I answered.
He took my hand and realized my situation. He took me to the house and ordered
me to give a cup of milk. I drink something
He said: Abu Huraira! Drink more
Drink again He said again: more. I drink again. Even my stomach got equal to
the arrow. Then I met Umar and told him about my condition and said, 'O' Umar!
Allah has arranged it through a person who is more appropriate in this regard
than you. By Allah! I wanted to read the verse to you, but I can read it better
than you. 'Umar said, "By Allah! If you were to admire, it would have been
more beloved to me than a red colored camel. [62446, 6452; Muslim 36/13,
h.2222, Ahmad 16332]
